Safety tips for meetups

Meet in a public place first

For your first meetup with someone new, always choose a public venue — a park, café, or sports ground. Avoid private residences until you know someone well.

Tell someone where you're going

Share the activity details (location, time, who you're meeting) with a friend or family member before you head out.

Check the host's profile

Look for verification badges, activity history, and reviews. New accounts with no activity history are worth extra caution.

Never share financial details

Meet Adda will never ask you to send money to another user. If someone asks for payment outside the app, report it immediately.

Trust your instincts

If something feels off before or during a meetup, leave. Your safety is more important than being polite. You can always report the issue afterwards.

Report, don't engage

If someone harasses or threatens you, use the in-app report button. Don't retaliate. Our team reviews every report within 24 hours.

Chat in the app first

Get a feel for the person before meeting. Be cautious of anyone who pressures you to move to another app or meet immediately.

Arrange your own transportation

Don't accept rides from someone you've just met. If you're unsure about meeting one-on-one, join a group activity first.

What we don't guarantee

We don't run background checks

Meet Adda does not conduct criminal background checks on users. Optional ID/photo verification adds a layer of accountability, but a verification badge is not a guarantee of someone's identity, intentions, or conduct — never assume a user has been fully vetted.

Your precautions matter most

We provide tools and guidance to help you make safer decisions, but we can't guarantee the safety of any venue, event, or meetup. Your safety ultimately depends on the precautions you take — see our checklist above and our Terms of Use.

Minors on the platform

Meet Adda is for users 18 and older only. If you believe an account belongs to a minor, or that a minor is at risk, report it immediately to meetadda.com@gmail.com. We will investigate and remove the account.

Law enforcement cooperation

We cooperate with law enforcement investigations and may disclose account information in response to valid legal process, or proactively where we believe there is a genuine risk to someone's safety, consistent with our Privacy Policy.

In immediate danger?

Contact local emergency services first — in India, call 112, or 100 for police — before contacting Meet Adda.

Once you're safe, use the Report button inside the app for the fastest response, or reach our team at meetadda.com@gmail.com.
