Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you ("User," "you") and Meet Adda ("we," "us," "our"), governing your access to and use of the Meet Adda website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service. Meet Adda is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly permit minors to register.

By using the Service, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and that you are not barred from using the Service under the laws of India or any other applicable jurisdiction.

You may not use the Service if you have been previously banned or removed from Meet Adda for violating these Terms or our Safety Policy.

Meet Adda is a social platform that helps users discover, organise, and join in-person meetups, groups, and events with other users based on shared interests.

Meet Adda is a platform that facilitates introductions and event coordination — we do not organise, supervise, verify, insure, or take responsibility for any in-person meetup, event, or interaction between users.

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering, and keep it updated.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

One person may maintain only one account. Accounts may not be sold, transferred, or shared.

You must notify us promptly at meetadda.com@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

This section is important. Please read it carefully.

Meet Adda connects people who may not know each other, for the purpose of meeting in person. Interacting with, and meeting, other users — whether individuals or in groups — carries inherent risk, including but not limited to physical, financial, and emotional risk.

You acknowledge and agree that Meet Adda does not conduct criminal background checks, identity verification (unless expressly stated as a paid or optional feature), or in-person vetting of any user, event, or venue, unless we explicitly state otherwise for a specific feature; that you are solely responsible for your own safety and conduct, and for exercising caution and good judgment when communicating with other users or attending any meetup or event; that Meet Adda is not responsible for the conduct, whether online or offline, of any user, event organiser, or third party; and that you assume all risk arising from your use of the Service and from any in-person interaction that results from it, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

We strongly encourage you to review our Safety Policy before attending any meetup, and to follow the safety practices described there — meeting in public places, telling a friend or family member your plans, arranging your own transportation, and trusting your instincts.

Nothing in this section limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our proven gross negligence, fraud, or willful misconduct, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law.

Any user who creates or hosts an event or group ("Organiser") is solely responsible for that event, including venue selection, safety arrangements, compliance with local law, and any permits or insurance required.

Organisers may not use the Service to host events that are unlawful, unsafe, discriminatory, or that violate our Community Guidelines and Safety Policy.

Meet Adda is not a party to, and assumes no responsibility for, arrangements made between Organisers and attendees, including any fees collected directly between users outside of an official Meet Adda payment feature, if any.

You agree not to: harass, threaten, stalk, defraud, or endanger any other user; impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliation; post content that is unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, defamatory, or infringing; use the Service for commercial solicitation, spam, or unauthorized advertising; attempt to access another user's account or our systems without authorization; use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access the Service; or violate our Safety Policy or Community Guidelines, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and to remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts at our discretion.

You retain ownership of content you post (photos, profile information, messages, event listings — "User Content").

You grant Meet Adda a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute your User Content solely for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Service.

You represent that you have all necessary rights to the User Content you post and that it does not infringe any third party's rights.

We provide in-app tools to block and report other users, events, or content. See our Safety Policy for details.

We may, at our sole discretion, remove content, suspend accounts, or permanently ban users who violate these Terms, without prior notice, particularly in cases involving safety risks.

We are not obligated to monitor the Service but may do so, and may cooperate with law enforcement where required or appropriate, including in response to safety reports.

Referral rewards are subject to verification. We reserve the right to modify or terminate the referral programme at any time. Fraudulent referrals (fake accounts, self-referrals) will result in account termination and forfeiture of any rewards.

Meet Adda does not currently charge for any features. If we introduce paid features in the future (such as premium membership, paid events, or ticketing), separate pricing and refund terms will be presented at the time of purchase and will be incorporated into these Terms.

The Service, including its design, logos, trademarks, and software (excluding User Content), is owned by Meet Adda and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from the Service without our written permission.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY USER, EVENT, OR MEETUP WILL BE SAFE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MEET ADDA AND ITS TEAM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY IN-PERSON MEETUP OR EVENT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED ₹5,000.

This limitation does not apply where prohibited by applicable law, including for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Meet Adda and its team from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your User Content, your conduct, or any in-person meetup or event you attend or host.

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if you violate these Terms, our Safety Policy, or if we believe your continued use poses a risk to other users.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

For users outside India, we may provide jurisdiction-specific terms as required by applicable local law as we expand.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the Service or email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
